FAQs

Q. How do I becoming a Vaughan Brothers Customer?

A. In order to set up a wholesale account with Vaughan Brothers you will need to supply us with a Tax ID and/or Business License that has to do with the Outdoor Industrial Fabric market. Why are we so strict about this? Because we care and go out of our way to protect our customers. The last thing our customers want is for the consumer to purchase products from us and then take it to our customers to have something fabricated. It would be like purchasing all of your Dental products from a supplier and then have your Dentist use those supplies to clean your teeth. Because they don’t know where they truly came from they would be leery about creating a quality product from them.

Q. Is your fabric first quality?

A. Yes, Vaughan Brothers fabrics are of the highest quality. However industry standards have changed over the years. For example Glen Ravens product’s like Sunbrella are permitted to have up to 3 flaws per 60 yard roll and still be considered first quality. Please feel free to contact us if you have unacceptable flaws and we will do our best to take care of you.

Q. What are Factory Seconds?

A. Vaughan Brothers purchases Seconds of several fabrics including Top Gun. These seconds usually come from calibrating the machines coating process to meet the standards of that items tolerance. Seconds usually come from the beginning or the end of a production run as they are trying to set up the calibration. Most of the time we can’t even tell the difference and the reason we purchase these is to offer our customers a value product. One thing to note, because seconds are seconds, they come with no warranty from the manufacturer.

Q. How do you ship 24 foot long tubing?

Normal cuts for anything 24 feet in length is 8’-8’-8’, for anything 20 feet in length 7’-7’-6’, and for anything 16 feet in length 8’ and 8’.
